What makes a flapping-wing drone different from a typical drone, and why does it look like a bird?

Flapping-wing drones generate lift and thrust by beating wings, rather than spinning propellers. That wingbeat motion naturally creates a bird-like silhouette and flight style, which feels more organic than rotorcraft.

What does it feel like to fly? Will it scare people or pets?

It looks and moves more “bio-friendly,” with a natural wingbeat rhythm and gliding posture — this is the biggest difference from prop drones’ more mechanical presence.

Can a complete beginner fly it well?

Yes. Our built-in self-stabilization algorithm helps keep the aircraft steady, and user testing shows first-time flapping-wing pilots can get airborne on their first try.

What most affects flight time and stability?

Wind, temperature, flying style (hard climbs/quick turns), added payload, and overall condition of the wings and mechanism.

Where is the best place to fly? Can I fly indoors?

You can control it indoors, but we recommend beginners start outdoors in a wide, open area — away from people, vehicles, trees, and power lines. Always follow local UAV rules and site restrictions.
